This weekend was busy with family, errands, sports events, etc. I did stay on plan, but struggled with making sure I had a shake every 2-3 hours on Saturday. I just had not planned on being away from the house more than 2 hours, but we were out much longer. I did get the 5 shakes in, although I was drinking the last one right before bed to make sure I met the 5.
Over all, it was a good weekend, no cheating, lots of walking and moving around. Saturday was my first day to go all day without solid food - shakes only. The min. prescription is 5 shakes, but they preach "more is better" and you can add their entrees, soup, pudding, & bars. I've noticed that my stomach is shrinking, but I have not gotten to the point where I can do shakes only, I'm still adding 2 entree's a day.
We spent most of today cleaning and I had a volleyball game. Good game, but I'm hurting now. My hip has been bugging me for a few years because of the weight and flares up when I've been active. I also hurt my shoulder at practice Thurs during a serve. It caught up with me during the game and tonight I'm really feeling the aches and pains. I told my husband that I'm looking forward to being skinny and getting in shape so I stop hurting like this after an active week and feeling so old.
I snuck a peek at the scale again this morning, it read 289 - 11 pound loss if it's right.
