Pneumona and the Flu

This weekend went very well with all the food temptations. I did not cheat, which was great until today.
Saturday we were active and I tried rock wall climbing for the 1st time. Very exciting and fun, but I really sore and achy Sunday, so I assumed it was due to the climbing.
Sunday my daughter and I took the dogs for a jog, then I had a Volleyball game at 3. By 11 I really started to feel exhausted - we did the family thing and I left there at 2:15 for my 3:00 game and felt crummy all over... as soon as the game was over, I could not move... something was wrong.

I went home and laid down for a couple of hours, but kept feeling worse, then I started shaking all over.. I had a 102 fever.

Today was a company holiday, so I got an appointment to see the doctor at 10, my fever was 103 by this point - after his exam and x-rays he diagnosed me with bronchial pneumonia. I've been fighting a sinus infection for weeks, so I assumed it finally got the best of me. He loaded me up with antibiotics, cough suppressants and nose spray - I took it all, but kept getting worse by the hour - the prescriptions and Motrin did nothing for my fever, my head and throat were killing me. By 6:30 my fever kept climbing to 104.6, even with the Motrin, I was shaking a drenched in sweat - panicked my husband took me to the after-hours clinic.
Since the antibiotics should have made my fever go down, not up they ran another test and in addition to bronchial pneumonia I tested positive for the Type A Flu.

Because the shakes HMR are milk based and my high fever, the doctor told me not to consume any milk or milk based products until the fever goes away, since that seems to be what's adding to my nausea.
Today I had a cup of fruit, chicken and veggies... all healthy, but I still feel awful and am surprised that I did get those down.
