Ok, I've gotten alot of comments the last 2 weeks from co-workers and how baggie my jeans are. It had gotten to the point that some people were coming up behind me, and grabbing a fist full of pant that was hanging where my butt should be (or use to be).. so finally this weekend after my husband watched me all day Saturday pulling up my pants, I gave in and bought new jeans.
Here's the cool part... the jeans I had were size 22 (remember I was a very tight 26-28 when I started)... I'd bought them a couple of years ago and was never able to wear them because they were too small at the time. I've been wearing these jeans for the last month, and now they are too big!
So we went to Kohls, I went strait to the Woman's section I always do to shop; however, all the close were TOO BIG.. can you believe it, clothes that were too big.
A little stunned, I started wandering around trying to find the smaller section.. I grabbed a couple of jeans not knowing what size I actually am......the jeans I bought are a 18!
I don't even remember the last time I was an 18!
I was able to get the 16's on, but they looked awful, so we'll stick with the 18's for a while until they start to fall off too.
Just pretty cool... so today I came to work for the first time in a while with both jeans and a shirt that fit.. I have been stopped by a dozen folks who have gone "Oh my god, you've lost alot of weight."... Pretty cool.
I'm just happy to be feeling better, and moving better. Last night was the best volleyball game I've personally ever played because I can move so much better and quicker now.. and I don't hurt all the time like before.
I looked at the scale this morning and it said 251.. just on the edge of the 240's. I'm getting ready to leave for the airport today and will be in New Orleans all week, but I plan to get alot of walking in, so next week I should finally make it to the 240's.
