Between the compounding stress of work, 5 family deaths in a 1 month period & traveling for work, it's no big surprise that I gained 10 pounds in one week.
I figured it would be bad, but did not realize it would be that bad.
So, I've started on the program, AGAIN. It's a great program & very successful; however, my problem is I ALWAYS go back to my old habits instead of sticking with the healthy ones... heck I'm not even sure exactly what my weight was Tuesday when I went to class, I did not look, I just know my health educator mentioned something about 10+ pounds.
I've also had a few hint's from friends these last two weeks that I finally stopped ignoring & let sink in.
One was a call here from a buddy who said, "hey, meet me for lunch so we can discuss workout strategies", another friend saying "Why don't you take this martial arts class, it would help you continue to lose weight" to even the more obvious one yesterday "I know your not dieting anymore, what happened, you were doing so good and I'm dissapointed that you stopped, what can I do to help?".
H E L L O ! - I guess it's time to pay attention, because obviosly everyone else is.
My new goal is to lose weight & continue to add in healthy foods to break those bad habits.
I've noticed the hip pain creeping back & I go on vacation in 3 weeks, so I want to lose the weight I gained + a few more pounds, especially so that I can enjoy the vacation & not be in pain or constricted on my activites.
Yesterday:
7am - HMR shake
10am - HMR bar
12pm - HMR shake & HMR entree
5pm - HMR two soups & HMR entree
7pm - salad & 1 roll
64 oz water
2 soda's
No PA
Today:
8am HMR shake
9am HMR shake & HMR cereal
12pm HMR entree & HMR shake
2pm HMR bar
44 oz water
....day's not over yet.
